Had to redo an illustration for my portfolio because the teacher could not read the Coltrane figure and Saxophone from the first [link]

I agreed that it was not as legible as it could be and redid the vector trace. The trace was from this photo

nice. idk though, maybe it'd be cool to try adding something in the negative space like you did in the older piece. other than that, very cool.

Compare to the older one, this one is more easier to make out. For some reason I tend to look at the saxophone the most maybe since the negative space gives it a bit of an abstract look in a way.^^

nah pen in photoshop. I am not too fond of live trace because it has no sense of line quality.

You got into too much detail in that one. I love the circles though. Bring the circles to this one!
