Omg yay! I wanted a Donatello plush forever. Its the whole reason I started to sew in the first place (march omg). And last night in a stroke of sewing genius *cough* I figured out the shell and I made myself my beloved Donatello.

Whom, is by far the most awesome turtle.

Technical: fleece and button eyes, which I intend to replace one day with something less creepy. I sculpted the face and feet with the techniques I learned from this deviant :iconthe13thrabbit:

The shell I came to logically since I make so many beanies/hats. make a template for the shell oval, find the perimeter, determine the radius and you got the start of a shell.

his bo is just a dowel rod with some purple ribbon tied around it, but I intend to continue working on him. Then I'll start the others *^_^*. Probably Raph cause he's my second favorite, then leo, then Mikey.

FYI: I was tired and hyper when I wrote the first explanation. XD

It took me 7 hours and I didn't go to bed till 5 am :).

Just the hand and head (which I think was just a sculpted circle). The delay will be making a tutorial. I am still technically a novice so I wouldn't know how to describe the steps.

Unless I did something like this.

step 1 cut shape

step 2 sew and stuff shape

step 3 fiddle with it for an hour while watching Christmas specials XD
