I love the movie treasure planet, but it didn't seem to get much recognition. The solarsurfer is off becuase I didn't actuallu reference it ^_^;;;

that's good. i agree treasure planet, wasn't that great of a movie, then again it didn't have much of a plot and i'm spoiled by japanese anime.

It missed recognition because Disney purposely stopped advertising it three weeks before it hit theaters, procrastinated the release party, and then claimed a $74 MILLION TAX CUT as a result. It makes me so angry because it was one of their best movies since that buttfrog Eisner started his second decade of corporate rule and they purposely wasted it just to save tax money that they had lost on other stupid projects that a little kid could have told them was a dumb idea. OMG IT MAKES ME SO MAD

Anyway, this is an excellent picture! I love that off-balance pose, the neat effect with the smoke, and the look on his face--he looks so happy, and maybe a few years younger than in the movie. I also think your media is really cool--I am not sure I have ever seen anything turn out like this, and it looks really awesome. :D

Yay, I'm not the only Jim fan left ;) Well, I know I'm not the only one, but they are few and far between ;) Very nice line art and nice coloring technique. Great work :)
